Front speaker
The 4 watt (typ.) front speaker delivers clear and powerful sound. With the speaker facing the operator, sound can be heard clearly without obstruction during operation.
6 Programmable buttons
A pair of function-programmable up/down and P0–P3 buttons allow you to customize functions to meet specific needs.
An independent volume knob offers simple, convenient operation.
Durable MIL construction
The tough die-cast aluminum chassis and polycarbonate front are tested to MIL 810F.
With this heavy-duty construction, the IC-F5022 series provides reliable long-term operation in any kind of environment.
IDAS™ digital mode function
The IC-F5122D series provides IDAS™ digital operation based on NXDN™ CAI.
It is also compatible with the conventional IDAS™ multi-site system and IDAS™ single-site trunking.

Multiple 2 tons, multiple 5 tons
Up to ten 2-Tone and eight 5-Tone codes can be decoded on one channel.

Lone Worker mode
When the transceiver is idle for a predetermined period, the transceiver beeps and requires you to press any button.
If the transceiver is still inoperative for a set waiting period, an emergency signal automatically transmits and informs co-workers that something may have happened to the worker.
Scan
In normal scan mode, you can select a scan list regardless of the channel setting.
In mode-dependent scanning, the scan list is automatically selected according to the mode channel.
It is convenient when you change operating channels or move to a different operating area.
Optional Active Noise Canceling Microphone
The optional active noise-canceling microphone HM-211 can automatically reduce noise in extremely noisy environments and help transmit clear and accurate sound.
