IC-7300
Top spectrum in real time
The IC-7300’s real-time rangefinder is state-of-the-art in resolution, scan speed and dynamic range.
When listening to the received audio, you can check the range of the spectrum in real time and quickly move to the intended signal.
When you touch the screen around the intended mark, the touched part is magnified. A second touch of the screen changes the operating frequency and allows you to tune in precisely.
High resolution waterfall mode
The combination of waterfall mode and real-time spectrum helps maximize the IC-7300’s receiving performance and increase QSO opportunities without missing weak signals.
The waterfall mode shows a change in signal strength over a period of time and allows you to find weak signals that may not be apparent across the spectrum.
The scroll function automatically keeps the operating signal within the range.
Audio Scope Function
The Audio Scope Function can be used to observe various AF characteristics such as microphone compressor level, filter width, notch filter width and key waveform in CW mode.
Either transmit or receive audio can be displayed in the FFT field with the waterfall mode and oscilloscope.
Direct RF sampling system
The RF signals are directly converted to digital data and processed in the FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array), simplifying circuit construction.
‘IP+’ mode
The new ‘IP+’ function improves the performance of the 3rd order intersection point (IP3).
When a weak signal is received close to strong interference, the AD converter optimizes itself by distorting the signal.
RMDR and Phase Noise characteristics
The RMDR of the IC-7300 has been improved to approximately 100 dB* (typical value) and the phase noise characteristics have been improved to approximately 20 dB (at a frequency separation of 2 kHz)
Superior Phase Noise characteristics reduce noise in receive and transmit signals.
Band-Pass Filters
The IC-7300 features 15 discrete RF band-pass filters.
The RF signal only passes through one of the bandpass filters, and any out-of-band signals are rejected.
High Q factor coils are used to minimize loss in RF bandpass filters
Built-in automatic antenna tuner
The built-in automatic antenna tuner remembers its settings based on your transmit frequency, so it can recall the tuning setting when you change operating bands.
The Enforced Tuning function allows tuning a wide range of temporary antennas.
Multi-Dial Knob for Smooth Operation
The combination of the multi-call switch and the touch screen provides fast and smooth operation.
When you press the multi-option button, menu items appear on the right side of the screen.
You can select an item with a touch of the screen and adjust the levels by rotating the multi-option knob.
Color TFT LCD screen with touch function
The large 4.3-inch color screen displays various operating and setting information at a glance in high resolution.
The screen clearly displays various features.
SD memory card slot for data storage
The IC-7300 can store various contents on an SD card, including received and transmitted audio, voice memories, RTTY/CW memories, RTTY decode logs, and captured screen images.
Personal data and firmware update data can also be saved to the SD card for easy setup.
